Great cabin. No traffic noise. Lots of trees.

The property was well stocked. We were able to grill and cook meals. There are a lot if trees so we were able to look at birds and chipmunks. The property was well maintained. Mark offered assistance and made us feel at home.

Outstanding!

The room and lodge were great. The staff was especially helpful. My wife asked for a wakeup if the Northern Lights appeared. The call came about 1:30 - 2 AM and we went out to see. Not as bright as later in the year, but a great show for about 30 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly come again and highly recommend the Alpine Lodge.

Nicely decorated, beautiful views!

5 of 5
We spent 4 nights at the Knoll house during our two week trip to Alaska and this was our favorite of the accommodations. It's too stinking cute for words! We hadn't seen many pictures of Knoll before we arrived but were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The house was well appointed, well cared for, decorated very nicely and was very welcoming. We enjoyed the views too! A previous reviewer complained about limited water during their stay...at check in Norman explained to us that they have a water tank to provide water and that he is happy to get more water whenever you need it, but please be conservative. We were 5 people, 4 nights and we never ran out! If you are environmentally conscious this is a non-issue. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day to see the northern lights! I wouldn't hesitate to book here again! My only suggestion would be to add a good mixing bowl & measuring cups to the kitchen....I think those were the only two items I needed but couldn't find - they very well could have been there and I just overlooked them. A hair dryer would have also been a nice addition :) Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we had a lovely time!
