This IS your grandparents Lakehouse.....AWESOME!

If you are looking for the "Plaza" then go to NY....but if you are looking for a cute, comfortable and peaceful older home 30 yards from your own private dock in your own private piece of heaven, the Bishop's Bay IS the place for you! We are incredibly fortunate that Ms. Joyce, Randy and Christy offer their wonderful home to share with the rest of us! My son was at Redstone for school for a month and I stayed for 9 nights and 10 days and hated to leave! The home has two bedrooms that have beds that will leave you forgetting that alarm clock (I slept in until 10:30 on two different mornings!) and waking as you please to have coffee on the dock (in your jammies!) to the sounds of geese and herons, boats and barges. Helpful neighbors you never hear and are there to help on the rare occasions that you see them. Three plus pound lunkers can (and did) be caught off the dock. Swings and a hammock for reading the latest bestseller and clear water on most days for a swim or two. We also recommend Fins N' Grins Outfitters to take you to the 'honey holes' on this 69.000 acres for the REALLY big ones! The local towns of Scottsboro and Guntersville boast the small town charm that they are and have neat stores with wooden floors and folks that really treat you right. Golf Courses of some of the best in the country, awsome shopping and sightseeing, and a ton of great restaurants (although you may choose to grill out by charcoal or gas - we had steaks and watched barges go up and down the river as we ate on the deck). The best part of this property is the owners who treat you like family and are always available, just minutes aways to meet your every need. We are now calling this one of our "Home-Away" from home homes and can't wait to return SOON! Thanks you so much Ms. Joyce, Randy & Christy for making this special trip so much more than ever expected! See ya'll SOON!
