Where is the Best Weather in May?
May is a great time to get away, as it's not a popular travel month, so you'll enjoy airfare deals and little company from tourists. In the United States, the weather is transitioning from winter to summer, so that means a great window for sightseeing. The West Coast and Midwest are especially great places to visit, so plan a trip to California, the Lake of the Ozarks, Chicago, or the Great Lakes?
Head a little more North of the US for a Canada getaway if you want to enjoy the Great Outdoors amid great weather.
Europe temperatures are quite comfortable, too, with Scotland enjoying lots of green foliage, and Portugal entering an almost summer-like time of year. As far as other international destinations go, North Africa is worth a visit this time of year, as it's not nearly as sweltering as the rest of the content. Mexico's Pacific Coast and Central America are also great May destinations.
