The Season

As you can imagine, there is a limited season for mountain biking. The time of year after the snow has melted, and the ground has had some time to dry out, is mountain biking season. While this can vary slightly every year, the general rule is that mountain biking season starts July 1 and extends through the beginning of October (before the snowy season returns). Be sure to check the online schedule before booking a trip; after the summer hours can sometimes be limited to weekends only.

Trails

Before embarking on Killington downhill mountain biking sessions, you are going to want to do some research in advance on trails. The Killington website has an excellent map of all the trails with details on each. Here visitors will find 17 trails that vary in length from .3 to 2.1 miles.
