Scottsdale Arts Festival DetailsHosted at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts on East Second Street, the Scottsdale Arts Festival is held each spring. This year, the event runs from March 8-10 starting at 10 a.m. and running until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are available at the gate for $7. If you wish to attend any two days of the festival, you can purchase a two-day pass for only $10. Students enter for just $5. Children 12 and under and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and SMoCA members get in free.
Just remember, pets are not allowed (unless they are trained service animals) and you can’t bring in food, beverages or coolers except for water and children’s snacks.
What to ExpectThere will be over 200 artists presenting their creations at the Scottsdale Arts Festival. These artists are selected by a jury, so you know they are some of the best artists available from all over the nation. You’ll also find live entertainment, music to groove to, food provided by specialty food trucks from around the Valley, as well as activities for the kids.
Online Art AuctionIn addition to the festival, you can participate in the online art auction. Artists chosen to participate in the Scottsdale Arts Festival donate items for the auction, which are displayed both on the festival website and at the event itself. Bidding starts during the festival, and those interested can continue bidding their hearts out for that must-have item until the online auction ends a few days later.
Proceeds benefit the Center for the Performing Arts.
If art is your scene, and you’ve always wanted to take a trip to Arizona with the family, then booking a Scottsdale vacation rental and attending the Arts Festival is sure to make for a memorable vacation. You may even make it an annual tradition.
