1. McGuire’s Irish Pub

It serves a customary blend of Irish and American food, with the equally customary Irish warmth and humor, and a great variety of Irish beers brewed on the premises. As is another standard with the Irish, live music is a feature of the restaurant from Wednesdays to Sundays. It’s open for breakfast or brunch, lunch and dinner. No visit to Pensacola is complete until you have eaten at McGuire’s, located on East Gregory Street, between the Civic Center and the Bay Bridge.

2. Peg Leg Pete’s

Conveniently located on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach, Peg Leg Pete’s is a fun restaurant that welcomes all ages. It also provides easy access for the disabled. It has an excellent oyster bar, traditional American food and some fabulous seafood dishes. Throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy live music from local musicians from 6 p.m.

3. Blue Dot Barbeque

Offering excellent quality burgers and ribs, the Blue Dot is popular with locals and visitors alike. The building may not look enticing, but don't let that put you off – the food is great and the prices are reasonable.  It is located on North De Villiers Street, not far from the Henry T. Wyer Park.

The family-friendly Tuscan Oven serves freshly made pizzas cooked in a traditional wood oven. A small, owner-run restaurant, it also serves appetizers, soups and salads. Conveniently located close to Cordova Mall, it has both indoor and patio areas for dining.

5. The Global Grill

With its striking modern décor, the Global Grill is an ideal location for a romantic evening out. The restaurant serves traditional Spanish tapas with a modern twist, making for delicious appetizers. Follow your tapas selection with a choice from their entrée menu, which is filled with fresh local seafood, duck, filet mignon and more. Save some room for dessert; their menu includes a wonderful cheesecake with wild berries soaked in port wine and topped with whipped cream. The Global Grill is in the historic Durnford Building, between Garden Street and Palafox.

6. Jasmine Fusion

Visitors will find the Jasmine Fusion on East Nine Mile Road. Their international menu features both American and Thai influenced dishes, including BBQ and sushi. Open from 11:30 a.m. for the early lunch crowd, they also have a great children’s menu.
