Miami Winter Music Conference Lodging
Miami is an easy city to get to, being the largest metropolis in the state of Florida. The best way to get there is to fly into Miami International Airport. For travelers who prefer to drive, the way to Miami is simple if not easy: you can take I-95 from anywhere on the Eastern Seaboard, even as far north as New York or Boston. If you’re coming from the west (say, from California or Texas), you can take I-10 all the way to Jacksonville, Florida, where you can pick up I-95 south. Traffic will be intense during the week of the conference, though, so flying is really the way to go.Lodging can also be a challenge. The WMC is a huge event with more than 500 related events in downtown Miami and South Beach during the week of the conference, and as noted above, it draws more than 300,000 visitors. Your best bet for lodging is a Miami Beach vacation rental home . Vacation rentals tend not to disappear in the face of popular events the way hotel rooms do, so they’re more likely to be available. Also, the privacy afforded by a vacation rental is invaluable; most electronic music fans like to party from late at night until lunchtime the next day, which makes Miami vacation rentals a perfect fit.
The Ultra Music Festival
One of the most impressive shows to take place during the Miami Winter Music Conference is the Ultra Music Festival, which is held every year in Miami's Bicentennial Park. When it was first introduced as a one-day event in 1999, it was so popular that they immediately changed it to a two day event for the next year. The event continued to grow, and as of 2011 it has now become a three day event. Attracting such diverse artists as the Black Eyed Peas , Perry Farrell , Rabbit in the Moon and Prodigy , this has become a can't-miss "festival within a festival."2013 Miami Winter Music Conference Details
