This German festival celebrates all things Deutsch from brats and beers to costumes and music. The 2011 Celebrations
While Oktoberfest is traditionally held in September in Germany, it takes place during October in other parts of the world. The Ocean City Oktoberfest will take place on
October 14 - 15, 2011 . Over the course of two full days and nights, visitors can enjoy barrels of beer, plenty of schnitzels and wurst, and many reasons to eat, drink, and be merry. In addition to food and drink, Oktoberfest is also about entertainment. Tickets
If you're planning on attending Ocean City Oktoberfest, you will need to buy tickets. Part of what makes this festival so attractive is the fact that tickets are incredibly affordable. Adult tickets cost $6 (with next day admission of $2) while seniors pay $5 (next day admission $2). Kids under the age of 13 are admitted for free. There's also another way to skip the ticket price. After 6 p.m. free admission is given to anyone wearing suspenders. If you're wearing traditional Bavarian or Austrian clothes, you can also skip the ticket price, all day, any day. There is also plenty of free parking - no hidden fees at this festival.
