Bars and nightclubs aren’t the only form of nightlife on St Simon’s Island. During your vacation you might want to take in a night at the theater. There are two main theaters in the area: the Ritz Theatre and the Mary Miller Theatre and both have online performance schedules. Another option for those visitors interested in the local arts scene is the performance series on
St. Simons Lighthouse Lawn at
Neptune Park. Here a summer concert series called Jazz in the Park takes place where local and regional bands will perform jazz music throughout the summer season.
Going to the Movies
If you’re traveling to St. Simons Island with kids or just your partner, you might want to spend a night at the movies. For something different, check out
Movie Night Under the Stars which takes place at
Mary Ross Waterfront . These outdoor films are a family friendly activity, showing films with a G or PG rating. If you would prefer a regular indoor cinema, there are two local options to choose from:
Movies at Glynn Place Mall and the
Island Cinemas . Both these theatres show first run movies so you can catch the latest summer blockbusters.

One last form of nightlife is your very own vacation rental. Why not throw a sunset barbecue, a game night under the stars, or a party with friends at your
