Attractions

The facility is broken up into a few different sections - the water/pool area, the beach area and the amusement area - but no matter where you end up, you can be sure that family-friendly fun is never hard to find! Check out some of these incredible attractions during your visit to Belmont Park!

The Giant Dipper Roller Coaster: This towering structure looms over the entire park and has been providing visitors with an adrenaline-pumping rides for more than 80 years! The Giant Dipper is one of the park's original attractions and was completed the year it opened in 1925. This wooden coaster takes riders through a series of dips, dives, turns and curves at high speed and is considered by many to be one of the more thrilling rides in the entire park. Single rides are $6 for patrons who do not have an unlimited-ride pass, and guests must be at least 50 inches in height.

The Octotron: While it may sound like a villain from a Spider-Man comic book, the Octotron is far from evil. This exciting roller coaster-like attraction allows patrons to control their speed and spin velocity while on the ride. Manipulate this contraption to accelerate yourself and your partner, just try to keep your lunch down in the process! Single rides are $5 for visitors without an unlimited-ride pass, and you must be at least 48 inches in height for admittance.

The Flow Rider: Surfing is a popular pastime in Southern California, and the Flow Rider offers visitors a chance to ride the swells without setting foot in the ocean! This contraption utilizes a patented sheet wave technology that allows riders to glide upon an endless wave for as long as they can keep their balance. Try your luck on stand-up flowboards or keep it safe with a lay-down bodyboard. Either way you choose, you can be certain that your experience will be a wet and wild one.

The FlowBarrel: After you've conquered the Flow Rider, graduate on to the impressive FlowBarrel. As a step up from its little brother, this machine gives guests the opportunity to catch the break and surf a never-ending barrel wave. It mimics the power and ferocity of Hawaii's signature break - the Banzai Pipeline - so visitors who can hang on this wild ride can be sure that they are on par with some of the best surfing specialists in the world. While this attraction takes a fair bit of skill and balance, the wipe-outs are almost as much fun as riding the wave itself.

The Liberty Carousel: Head over to the Liberty Carousel for some good old-fashioned fun. Choose your preferred animal and saddle up for a light-filled spectacle sure to delight any rider who hops on. This attraction is particularly popular for families with small children. Single rides are available for only $2 for guests without the unlimited-ride pass and there is no height requirement. Enjoy the majesty of this classic during your Belmont Park getaway!
