Orange County Vacations
Anaheim
The City of Anaheim is, of course, home to Disneyland, the original theme park created by Walt Disney. You could say that here is where the Disney magic first came to life. If you have small children, you won't want to leave Orange County without taking them to Disneyland. While Disneyland takes the show, there are plenty of other attractions and activities in Anaheim. Cheer on the MBL Angels or NHL Anaheim Ducks at a game. Give the kids an experience they'll never forget at the Flightdeck Air Combat Center. Zoom past each other on an indoor kart track at K1-Speed.
Newport Beach
Newport Beach is one of the cities that provides transport to Catalina Island. Here you board Catalina Express ferries or catamarans for a visit to this famous island. Ticket prices vary, with discount prices available for children and senior citizens. You can also visit the Upper Newport Bay ecological preserve and reserve. This area is popular with hikers and birdwatchers. Coastal hikers will enjoy Los Trancos and El Moro Canyons hiking trails.
Dana Point
This city also lets you you board Catalina Express ferries or catamarans for a visit to this famous island. Plan to arrive a little early and visit Dana Point Harbor before your Catalina Island trip, or stay for a while when you return.
