Richmond Vegetarian Festival
Centered within the span of Virginia's beautiful Bryan Park is the Richmond Vegetarian Festival. This annual event -- which is settled within quick miles of

VegFest of Orlando
Nestled on the outskirts of
Orlando is VegFest. It is often touted as one of the country's (and the world's) most prestigious events. This annual celebration provides guests with hundreds of vendors and speakers, as well as offering a Humane Education Center. This allows individuals to experience the horrors of factory farms and provides ways to battle the mistreatment of animals. Dogs, cats and more are even allowed to join the festivities, making this a true family affair. The VegFest of Orlando is held in October. Guests must arrive early to secure parking as this is a popular event. Charlottesville Vegetarian Festival
Boasting a history of social awareness, the Charlottesville Vegetarian Festival (in
Central Virginia) is among the best Vegetarian getaways. For over 15 years this event has offered lessons of healthy living to Virginia. 6,000 visitors experience a variety of activities each year: from live entertainment to cooking exhibits to even pet adoption opportunities. This is a celebration with a cause, and guests are able to gain the wanted support from groups like Vegan Outreach, PETA and United Poultry Concerns.
