Butler, who was instrumental in transforming T-Mobile and Capital One into power brands, joined HomeAway in January 2008 to lead its global marketing initiatives. He most recently served as executive vice president and CMO at T-Mobile USA where he helped build a nationally-recognized brand for the $15 billion business. Prior to T-Mobile, Butler served as vice president, brand marketing for Capital One. The company's "No Hassle" financial services and Effie award-winning "What's in your wallet?" campaign were part of the brand strategy he helped design. Butler's early career focused on the consumer packaged goods industry, which including a position as vice president of marketing at Kellogg where he managed a portfolio of 27 cereal brands. He earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Greenwich University in London. |
