Wellfleet weddings require a Massachusetts marriage license. The bride and groom may apply for a marriage license in person at any Town Clerk's office in Massachusetts. Both parties must be a least 18 years of age to marry. The license will be issued following a three-day waiting period and it's valid for 60 days anywhere in the state. If either party has been divorced, there is a 90-day waiting period from the date the divorce is final. For information on obtaining a Wellfleet marriage license, contact the Wellfleet Town Clerk at 508-349-0301. After the marriage ceremony, the officiant must sign the license and return it to the Town Clerk where it was issued. Wedding officiants from out of state are required to obtain a Certificate of Authorization from the Massachusetts Secretary of State; call 617-727-2836 for details. | Wellfleet Vacation Rentals | Massachusetts Vacation Guide and Activities | Return to Vacation Guides Home |
