Avant Garde Visit to Spain

Pablo Emilio Gargallo was born in 1881 and moved to Barcelona as a young child where he began his training as an artist, developing his own inimitable sculpting style, becoming an influential and significant artist of the avant-garde movement in Spain. From October 31st-January 28th, visitors can stay in a rented holiday home in Spain and visit the exhibition of his works at the Sala d'Exposicions de la Pedrera. The aim of the exhibition to show the contrast and co-existence of Gargallo's avant garde works from the 1920s and 1930s with Noucentisme, his classically inspired work. Entry is free and guided tours to the gallery are provided.
