Mission Beach Weather

The weather in Mission Beach and Mission Bay is some of the most pleasant anywhere. With daytime highs in the 70s to the low 80s from April to November, outdoor activities such as surfing, fishing, boating, hiking, sun bathing, and visiting amusement parks are always in season. Summertime visitors of Mission Bay vacation rentals will find the warmest weather in July with an average high around 82 degrees. The record high temperature of 111 degrees occurred in 1963. While summer brings overnight lows in the 60s, fall is a bit cooler as the temperatures dip all the way into the 50s.

In the wintertime, guests of Mission Bay rentals enjoy high temperatures in the 60s and overnight lows in the 40s. December is usually the coolest month and the record low of 29 degrees occurred way back in 1949. In the spring, Mission Beach weather is a little warmer with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the 50s.

With just 12 inches of average annual rainfall in the San Diego area, guests of Mission Bay condo rentals are virtually guaranteed to enjoy sunny skies. Rainfall in January is usually about 2-1/2 inches, but there is almost no rain from May to October.
