La Quinta CA weddings require a California Marriage License issued by the Riverside County Clerk. The bride and groom must both appear in person to apply for the license and show photo identification. If either party has been divorced, a copy of the final divorce decree is required. Both parties must be at least 18 years of age; the marriage of minors requires a court order. Licenses are valid immediately and are good for 90 days. The license fee is $68.
Riverside County Clerk offices are located at 4080 Lemon St., 1st Floor, in Riverside; at 2724 Gateway Dr. in Riverside (951-486-7000); and at 82675 Highway 111, Room 113, in Indio (760-863-8732). The County Clerk's offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday, except holidays.
