Italy's Six Weeks of Christmas

Forget a mere 12 days, the Italian town of Trento celebrates the holidays properly with a full six weeks of organized Christmas events from November 25th to January 7th this year. Stay in a rented holiday home in Italy and spend weeks enjoying the holidays, taking in the festive treats and traditional foods available at the Christmas Market that takes place in the historical setting of the Piazza Fiera. Children will be dazzled with the entire Piazza Cesare Battisti square dedicated to them, with a Father Christmas train among the other shows and activities. Events continue into 2007 with a New Year's Eve party in the town square and concerts and events in the local municipal buildings.
