Guests of Cape Cod cottages will find 27 public and 15 private golf courses on Cape Cod, most situated west of Brewster. Golf magazine has rated Cape Cod as one of the top spots in the country for good public courses, and Cape Cod golf courses offer a variety of terrain, including spectacular waterfront layouts, championship courses, and rugged links. Some courses are open year-round. Be sure to inquire about booking tee times in advance during high season.

Popular Cape Cod golf courses include Dennis Highland, a tree covered course on the north side of Dennis, and Falmouth Country Club, a 27-hole championship public course. New Seabury's Blue Course has challenging wind conditions, and the nine-hole Highland Links course in Truro is known for its fabulous ocean views.
