Description of the Jamestown (Conanicut Island) vacation cottage rental
A beautiful view of Narragansett Bay and Newport is the central feature of this classic 1950’s beach cottage on Beavertail. Enjoy the view while dining, either indoors or on the deck. The water is approximately 300 feet from the front door, down a set of private stairs with deeded right of way. There are flat rocks for sunbathing, good snorkeling and a very nice cove (Hull Cove) with a sandy beach five minutes walk to the left along the water’s edge. The town beach is approximately 10 minutes by bike. The town of Jamestown is a few minutes further, with cafes, shops and a marina. By car, you can cross the bridge to Newport in under 15 minutes.

Or take advantage of all the usual tourist/non-tourist cultural, shopping and entertainment opportunities just over the bridge in Newport. Ferry service to Newport and Providence from downtown Jamestown.
Further afield, enjoy access to Providence (Waterfire), New York or Boston via auto or train from Kingston Station.
