Great getaway in any season: The best feature of this home is the close proximity to so many recreational opportunities, great local restaurants, shopping and either sound or ocean swimming. You can walk, bike or drive to Jockey's Ridge Park and see the largest dunes on the East Coast from the front deck! The sound access is a great quiet place for anyone who likes lake-like shallow water and no crowds! The ocean beaches offer quiet spots, busier ones with lifeguards, restrooms and volleyball, or even places to drive on and fish! You will love swinging on the hammock on the back deck, which is accessible from 2 bedrooms, or enjoying your morning breakfast on the front deck watching the sunrise! If you like to cook, this is a very well stocked kitchen and has many varieties of glassware for those deck cocktail parties.
The Area of South Ridge: South Ridges is a wonderful location for the family. Bring the bikes and enjoy biking the neighborhood or simply take a short ride over to the sound side beach or Jockey's Ridge. The sound side beach is a great place for the little ones to enjoy the water without the waves and currents and Jockey's Ridge makes for a great day of kite flying or hang gliding.
Nicely decorated and in a wonderful location to do so much. In moments you can be to Jockey's Ridge to try your hand at hang gliding or just to take a climb to the top to enjoy the sites. Conveniently located beach access areas with ample parking and bathhouses make a swim in the ocean or a walk on the beach only minutes away. Ground Level: Basketball Goal, Storage Area, Enclosed Outside Shower. Entry to laundry room, Bedroom with Pyramid and Bedroom with Queen. Full bath also on lower level. Parking for 6 cars. Level 1: Spacious Great room with TV/VCR/DVD, Stereo with CD player, Fireplace and Queen Sleep Sofa. Books, videos and board games have also been provided. Kitchen features breakfast bar and opens to dining area. Level 2: Stairway to Twin bedroom and Queen bedroom with TV/VCR. Both have access to the rear deck. Beautiful sunsets over the Albermarle Sound and Jockey's Ridge await you!
