Located on Walker Street in Tribeca, this is a luxurious two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment with 17 foot ceilings. There is a buzzer/intercom security system installed in the building for the protection of the tenants. A freight elevator goes to the fifth floor (the top floor) opening directly into the living room of the loft. There is a ton of light streaming in through three windows overlooking Walker Street. The living room features a TV equipped with digital cable, a home theater system, a huge, custom-made leather couch, two love seats, a glass coffee table, gallery lighting and ceiling lamps. The dining room is past the living room and has a large table which seats10 people comfortably. In the other corner of this room is the first office area. The second bedroom is located just next to the kitchen. The first floor of this bedroom can be used as a second office area as it is equipped with a desk, computer and plenty of space.
Past the dining room is the skylight kitchen. It is equipped with a bar counter with four vintage bar stools. There is a sink, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and many small kitchen appliances, all of which have been recently installed. There is a corridor leading past the kitchen to bedroom 1 and the bathrooms. This corridor, furnished with comfortable theatre chairs and cinema art, can be used as a second seating area.
The master bedroom is fully furnished. It is equipped with a California king size bed, dressers, and a large closet. A television with a VCR is also provided in the bedroom. There are three windows in this room, which also features its own private bathroom. The tile bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, w/c, a mirror and a small linen closet. The second bathroom, located just outside the master bedroom, is also tile. It has a skylight providing natural light and is fully equipped with a sink, a closet, towels, shelves, a shower and a toilet.
This apartment contains central heat and air conditioning. Throughout the apartment there are plants, antiques, and fine art on the walls. It also has a washer/dryer and a small work shop located in the corridor between the kitchen and master bedroom. Towels and sheets are provided by the owner.
The Tribeca area has many landmarks, bookstores, restaurants and bars. SoHo, China Town and Wall Street are a two-minute walk away. Chelsea, and the East and West Villages are 20 minutes away or less by foot, or five minutes by subway. There are ten different subway trains within walking distance of the apartment and any of the trains get to midtown, the theater district and Central Park in about 5 minutes.
