- The first kid's bedroom has a bunk bed, which can fit two on the bottom and one on the top. The bottom folds into a fouton, our teenager will often spend some time there if she wants to get away from the little ones. The second kid's bedroom has a trundle bed, which folds under during the day to make room for the kids to play.

Further details for this vacation house rental in Cadillac, Michigan
Family friendly, pet friendly: This is a great place for one or two families to spend a week of good fun. Two of the bedrooms and one living room are back behind the kitchen. When we go with only one family we will often just close the door and forget about that area. When the cousins and the aunts and uncles come for the week, they can get plenty of privacy when needed in the back area, or come out into the spacious and wide-open kitchen-dining-living area where there are usually 3 or 4 conversations going on. Look for crayons, markers and paper near the phone!
Blackberries in August: Late August is perfect wild blackberry season. We've got acres of 'em!
Ski: The Caberfae ski resort is about a ten minute drive away. This is the first place our kids ever put on skis, the instructors were very patient and the kids were having a great time right away.
Golf: We are about 20 minutes from Cadillac, Michigan, here is what their website says: 'With twelve different courses and affordable rates you can play a week's worth of golf in the Cadillac area for what it costs for just a couple of rounds elsewhere.'
