There are ski boats, pontoons and other personal watercrafts you can rent from a number of places near the cottage. Canoeing down the Betsie or Platte Rivers brings you back to nature! The town of Frankfort is a good 5-7 minutes down the road. This quaint town has a movie theater, wonderful shops, great places to eat and it's a port town on Lake Michigan. Book a charter to catch 'The Big One'! Frankfort even has its own hospital. The Betsievalley Bike and walking trail is just outside the cottage door. Rent a bike, put on your rollerblades or walking shoes and enjoy yourself! Benzie County is a growing community that invites tourists every season. Art fairs, music in the park concerts and special events fill up the summer days and nights. Hope to see you soon!

The Outskirts of Beulah: Traverse City is about 45 minutes northeast of Beulah. It's a great town that has a comedy shop, great shopping in a historical downtown, a modern mall and even an outlet mall. The Beach Bums is a minor baseball team in Traverse City and they and their new stadium is a 'must see'! A drive up the Leelanau Penninsula to 'fish town' and the wineries is something everyone should do every summer. Interlochen Fine Arts Academy holds concerts all yearround at their wonderful facility. Famous musicians appear weekly for concerts. The Sleeping Bear Dunes Climb and Scenic Drive are two places to definitely visit while you're hear. Or head the other directions to the Arcadia Bluffs...either way.....make sure to bring your camera!

This area is a fantastic place to vacation and live. If you want a place to come to relax and soak in some sun...this is the place. If you want to stay active and participate in all sorts of watersport activities...this is the place. We have a little bit of everything here. Our area caters to tourists...but we'll make you feel like home. We have great home cooking establishments as well as tasty Mexican and Oriental places where to dine. The pizza in this area is mouthwatering, too! Great ice cream shops just about everywhere you look! This county had been labeled, 'The Jewel of the North'. Ski: Crystal Mountain offers skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and sleigh rides. The facility is awesome. You'll have to see it to believe it!

Golf: There are approximately seven golf courses in or near our area. Two miniature golf courses are about 5 minutes away from the cottage
