Sport Plan: $1050 - Includes Pedal boat and fishing boat with motor for the week. Pontoon Plan: $1200 - Includes Pontoon boat use for the week. Kid's Plan: +$250 by arrangement & available Only with 2 br bay cottage- includes use of Power Paddler, Pedal Boat and Glass Bottom rowboat for the week. If reserving after May 1st, notify us via phone or e-mail of your exact dates desired, and we will put a 5 day 'hold' on your dates to allow mailing and receipt of your deposit. (Deposit is fully refundable via US mail after rental and satisfactory exit inspection). Rent for your stay is a separate issue, and is due prior to or upon arrival. If rent is pre-paid along with your deposit and you should cancel, the deposit is forfeited, but the rent, of course, is refunded. The advantage to pre-paying your rent is that
- Your arrival time is completely flexible, as you do not have to rendezvous with us at a certain time to pay your rent and collect the keys. If pre-paid, the premises are open with the keys on the kitchen counter any time from check-in (3 p.m.) on. No Pets in the rental or on the premises at any time. Violation results in immediate eviction and forfeiture of remaining rent balance and deposit. Your dates are confirmed upon receipt of your deposit, and we will notify you and fwd. a map with your reservation # at that time. If your deposit is not received within 5 days, your reservation is automatically canceled. See above for advantages of pre-paying Rent before arrival. We rent partial weeks or daily, but at the rate for the entire week.

BR B Amenities: /B BR This rental is completely furnished and ready for your enjoyment. It has washer/drier, all linens, kitchenware, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, fireplace, gas BBQ, picnic table and campfire pit. Hot water and furnace are natural gas, with well water and water softener. The number of sleeping accommodations is variable, depending on renters willingness to use hide-a-bed, inflatable mattresses, couch, etc. BR B Activities: /B BR Activities include swimming, wind-surfing, horse shoes, fishing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and sailing, with the beaches and salmon / trout / walleye fishing of Thunder Bay, Presque Isle Harbor and Rockport Harbor (Lake Huron) close by.
The summer calendar of community events includes the art show on the bay, 4th of July fireworks, Wooden Boat Show, Ramblin' Rods car show, farmer's markets, musical events at Northern Lights arena, and the Brown Trout Festival in late July. Check chamber of commerce websites for calendars, including Alpena C/C and Presque Isle Tourism Council. BR B Area: B BR The community of Alpena is located approximately 10 miles south on U.S.-23 with grocery stores, Wal-Mart, K-mart and Home Depot on the outskirts of town. There is a convenience store 2.5 miles down west Long Lake RD, and 2 more with gas available 2 miles or less to the north of the West Long Lake intersection, on U.S.-23 N., also see 'Buck's Bait and Tackle' on the right (east) side of U.S.-23. There is a waterfront marina on this side of the lake to the south, with fuel docks, boating supplies and jet ski rental, 'Burton's Last Resort' is also a waterfront restaurant and bar with great food and easy access by boat or car.
The Bay 2 BR Bay Cottage is currently available the last week of May (Mem. Day week), all of June, AND the 1st week of July (4th of July week), as well as the week of Aug. 9th - Aug. 16th. Please call or e-mail to confirm availability.
