Next to the bedroom is a bathroom with a tub/shower and laundry closet with w/d. Upstairs bedroom has views of Nantucket Sound, a ceiling fan, desk, and TV, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower. All mattresses are new cushion-top posturepedic; pillows (two per bed) are down. Extra bed linens and down comforters are available. All windows have mini-blinds.

Guests' comments.: Our 5th summer at Maushop -- our 3rd in your great cottage! We feel as though we're coming home! Your special touches make for an easy and fun vacation for all. (Family of four from Bronxville, New York.) Hi People. My name is Mary Kate. I love this place! (Age -- about 7!) Travelling thousands of miles to get here meant we were not sure what we would find. Thank you for allowing us to rent your cottage by the sea. It was the perfect spot for exploring Cape Cod .... We really have felt very much at home here. (A mother and daughter from Europe.)

Guests' comments: Came down for a wedding and we were bumped from [other accommodations} where all our friends were staying. Being 'older' single women we were disappointed--until we walked through the door of this villa. We loved our stay -- the peace and tranquility -- the sun, the stars, the breezes, the ocean -- heaven! (Two women from Billerican and Burlington, MA) Your little house was just perfect. There was a howling 'nor'easter' outside and we didn't even care. We were comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed. (A couple from Virginia.) Dear Aunt Sally and Uncle Jack. I had a wonderful time in your beach house. It was really nice being able to walk to the beach. I had a whale of a time. (E.M. from Andover, MA., age 8)
Golf: Golf is available to the public at nearby courses. They include Ballymeade, Barnstable Fairgrounds, and Quashnet Valley, Cape Cod Country Club and Falmouth Country Club.
Guest Book: Just a quick note to let you know we had a great week!! We spent most of the week on the beach with family and friends....It is such a beautiful spot we hardly left Maushop. (Family from Boston, MA); Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage. This was my first visit to Cape Cod and it was all I imagined. I loved the house and wonderful view. Can't wait to come back. (Three friends from California and MA).; We had so much fun on the beach and enjoyed the concerts at the Marketplace. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
