Description of the Lanesboro vacation house rental
This lovely 3 Bedroom house is directly on Pontoosuc Lake in the beautiful Berkshires. It's an antique 2 story year round home with 3 bedrooms, a loft area, 2 bathrooms, a dining room, living room, kitchen, and three enclosed porches, all which overlook the lake. The eat in kitchen is modernized and fully equipped. The bedrooms have a queen bed, double bed and twin trundle beds. One bathroom has a tub and the other has a shower. You can swim off the dock or at the small beach area next to the house. The lake water at the beach and at the dock is very clean. The house is comfortably furnished and very family friendly. It is at the end of a dead end street. There are amazing sunsets and calm clear mornings. The summer is just beautiful here. Lanesboro is centrally located midway between Lenox and Tanglewood)and Williamstown. Each town is about 20 minutes away. Jacobs Pillow is about 30 minutes away. Food stores, the the Berkshire Mall, restaurants and fun activities are all close by.

Lanesboro is located midway between Williamstown and Lenox in the beautiful Berkshires. There are numerous cultural activities in this area including the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Jacobs Pillow, Berkshire Theatre, Tanglewood, Clark Art Museum and Museum of Modern Art to name just a few. All of these theatres and museums are less than a 30 minute drive from the house in either direction. There are also lots of outdoor activities such as golfing, boating and swimming on Pontoosuc Lake, hiking on the local trails and at Mount Greylock. If you like to shop, there are lots of antiques shops, the Berkshire Mall and the Lee Outlets close by. In addition, there are two water and fun parks located at local ski areas. Close by food stores, mini golf, delicious ice cream shops and go carts make this a great place for everyone.

- Each bedroom has a bed and bureau. Two of the bedrooms have closets. The one bedroom without a closet has an enclosed porch off of it with a chair and views of the lake. One bedroom also has a desk. There is also a loft area with a book shelf and chairs. It can be used with a blow up bed as an additional sleeping area. It has another enclosed porch off of it overlooking the lake. The beds all have sheets, comforters and pillows provided or you can bring your own.
