Further details for this vacation house rental in Cheshire, Massachusetts
Wading is possible from right off the property (the water is clean), but the lake is not yet weed-free enough for swimming (like many of the Berkshire lakes). It is highly suitable for boating, kayaking, and fishing. The glistening lake is surrounded by mountains in all directions and the location of the property in the central Berkshires town of Cheshire is very convenient, with all the premier outdoor and cultural attractions of the area only a short drive away.
Jiminy Peak with summer activities and skiing is only 20 minutes away. For fall, the house is 20 minutes from the Mohawk Trail, with some of the best leaf viewing in the country.
