Welcome to a sunny 5 bedroom house located right in Tenants Harbor village. This spacious 19th century sea captain's house is the perfect place to spend your Maine vacation. A view of the harbor is seen from the living room picture window and from the large back deck. Take a stroll down to the rocky shoreline to collect sea shells or grab a bite to eat at one of the 4 local restaurants just a short walk away. The house is located next door to the town library and a small ball field. It is also an easy walk to the village bakery and general store. This home has a large living room/dining room (large dining table) and a full kitchen. The house comfortably sleeps 8. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms (1 room with 2 twin beds and 2 rooms with 1 double bed in each) and a full bathroom. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms (each with a single bed) and a 3/4 bathroom, as well as a laundry room.

Location


Sandy beaches and swimming, museums and art galleries are just a few miles away. Travel 5 miles to Port Clyde and take the ferry boat to picturesque Monhegan Island or visit Marshall Point Light House and Museum. Golf, Farnsworth Art Museum, movie theaters, island ferries and more can be found in Rockland, just 15 miles up the peninsula. Other nearby activities are numerous: fishing, antiquing, shopping, hiking, dining (both fine and casual), sailing and sightseeing. Various local festivals are held throughout the summer.
