The Moses Bartlett House was built c. 1790 by a Revolutionary War soldier. The guest house is a former carriage house that has been sympathetically renovated. It is only 10 minutes from the slopes at Sunday River and is 20 minutes from Black Mountain of Maine-internationally known for its amazing Nordic skiing. Its spot is secluded and quiet-a welcome escape for city dwellers. Stargaze in our 8 person Sundance hot tub. There are 3 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. Family friendly. Well-behaved dogs welcome. 20 acres of groomed cross-country trails usually available. The Moses Bartlett House is not a B&B, but more like your ski house in the mountains. Your hosts, Tom & Vicky, will try in every way to accommodate you. The guest house is completely separate from the hosts' home and has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Wireless Internet. Lovely valley, river and mountain views.

    $350/night Holiday/weekends. Friday is considered weekend. 5 night minimum during x-mas/new year week and Presidents' week/February vacation. Will occasionally make an exception depending on where the holiday falls.

    We are very flexible regarding check-in and check-out times when possible.

    All rates require an additional 7% Maine State Lodging Tax.

    To reserve I require 50% deposit by check. Forfeit deposit if cancellation less than 2 weeks before stay unless able to re-book. Vouchers or refund at owners' discretion.
