There are a dozen or more restaurants nearby both on and off the island offering a range of atmospheres from casual to elegant. You can find sandwich shops and ice cream parlors along with restaurants specializing in italian cuisine, steaks and seafood. Of course with easy access to fresh fish from the gulf you can taste some of the best seafood around from sumptuous shrimp dishes to the catch of the day prepared any way you like.
Boca Grande village has plenty of unique shops and art galleries where you can pick up a gift for a friend (or yourself) or just explore the many beautiful items offered by local artists and craftsmen. There are shops with antiques, jewelry, apparel and gifts all within close proximity.
Golf :
If golf is your passion or just the occasional past-time you will have plenty of places to play. There are half a dozen golf courses within 15 miles of Boca Grande including public and semi-private. With average high temperatures in the 70's from December through March the conditions are ideal for winter golf!
Boating and Fishing :
There are fishing guides and charters available nearby for the angler in you with access to some of the best fishing spots in all of Florida. If you just want to get out on the water you can rent a power boat, jet ski, or kayak from a local operator. Eco- tours and other guided boat adventures are also available within a few minutes drive.
