Description of the Bequia vacation villa rental
Iona House, completed in 2001, is a spacious 2200 square foot, three bedroom, two bathroom house cooled by the pleasant tradewinds of the village of Mt Pleasant. The house is ringed by covered porches bathed by breezes which present you with incredible views of the nearby islands of Battowia, Baliceaux and Mustique. The large and modern kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare a sumptuous meal for your group to eat in. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and plenty of wardrobe space. In addition there is also an inflatable aerobed which cane easily be set up in the large downstairs living room to accommodate guests or extra children. You will find Iona well stocked with books, music and games but there is no television and we think that most would agree that one would be wholly superfluous in those surroundings. All you need to bring are your clothing, toiletry items and let Iona House, Mt Pleasant and Bequia provide the memories above all else.

On an island already off the beaten path, this villa is situated on the side of a hill facing southeast. The sun and moon rise from the sea and the effects are magical. Walking throughout this hilly village, you may view several of the Grenadine islands, including Mustique, Canouan, St. Vincent and other uninhabited smaller rocky isles. Hire a taxi (or rent a vehicle) and visit Brother King's turtle sanctuary, treat yourself to the Sunday curry lunch at Spring Hotel, pack a picnic and visit Princess Margaret Beach, shop in the harbor for handmade crafts, eat out in any number of great West Indian restaurants, cook in and watch the moon rise, Hike down to the remote and wildly beautiful Hope Bay or simply hang out at Dawn's Creole Kitchen beach shack on funky Lower Bay beach with a rum punch and a novel. Scuba, snorkeling, sailing, watersports, fishing trips and cruises to nearby islands are also possibilities.
