Description of the Island of Gozo vacation farmhouse rental
A modern farmhouse, bursting with character. Recently finished and equipped with air conditioning throughout, situated in the village of Xaghra with a private pool and deck area. Arch covered limestone steps lead to the entrance hallway which leads you through to the lounge/dining area and separate fully equipped kitchen which includes:- gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer and microwave. The sitting room has an oil fired 'woodburner', satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi, video player, broadband and telephone leading through double arched doors to the private deck and swimming pool area with patio furniture, sun loungers and gas BBQ. The third double bedroom is situated on the ground floor next to the shower room. Limestone stairs lead to the first floor: second double bedroom, ensuite shower and balcony, landing/reading area with skylights, master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, . Utility room with automatic washing machine. Stairs to large private roof terrace with sea and country views.

Gozo, the unspoilt gem of the Mediterranean, has a wealth of history with Ggantija temples, the world's oldest free-standing structures a short walk from the house, crystal clear blue waters, welcoming Gozitan people and a quiet, relaxed, safe atmosphere.
The village of Xaghra has all necessary amenities such as supermarkets, shops, banks, cafes, bars with some of the best restaurants in Gozo where diners can enjoy al fresco dining around the village piazza. Many country walks can be enjoyed which take you across the Island . Ramla, a beautiful sandy beach is in the Xaghra area and is a short drive or walk away. In fact you are only 10 minutes drive from any beech. All water sports are available including boat hire, snorkelling & diving, close to the village.

The pool area is south facing, so sun all day.

The roof terrace is private for sunbathing with a bar fridge/freezer to keep the gin and tonic cool with Ice if preferred.
