Numerous forests all surrounding 5 min driving, 20 min by bike, specially for picnics and sightseeing, music festival the 21st of June, the fireworks the July 14th, the St Geramin en Laye Villega close from the house, 5 min walking( see the website) were the castle and the Henry IV hotel , place were Henry IV was born.

Versailles castle 20 min by bus or 10 min driving. The train station left you 18 min to champs Elysee Ave. or the Triumph arch in the 16 arondisement close to the famous Ave. Montagne were you can see the most famous cloth shops, etc.
The place where we live is a very quite place, with a beautiful garden with old trees and a charming 19th century castle which is part of the complex. See the picture of the tennis court looking up. Ponds with fish statues make this garden a nice place to relax before the visit of Paris.
