Aspen Highlands has 110 acres of snowmaking coverage and the longest run is three and a half miles. The trails are rated as 18% easiest, 30% more difficult, 16% most difficult and 36% expert.

Snowmass features 88 trails on 3,128 acres, served by 22 lifts with a capacity of 27,181 riders per hour. The Snowmass ski area has 185 acres of snowmaking coverage and the longest run is over five miles long. The trails are rated as 6% easiest, 50% more difficult, 12% most difficult and 32% expert.

Buttermilk, located within the White River National Forest, is three miles from downtown Aspen and six miles from Snowmass. This resort is ideal for beginning skiers and features 44 trails on 435 acres. The nine lifts can handle 7,500 riders per hour. Buttermilk has 108 acres of snowmaking coverage and the longest run is three miles. The trails are rated as 35% easiest, 39% more difficult and 26% most difficult. Buttermilk also has two terrain parks and a superpipe.
