This private paradise home will feel like your home. The local caretaker can assist you in getting familiar with your surroundings. Wake up each morning at your leisure to the smell of the fresh ocean breeze and soft sounds of the ocean wind blowing threw the house. Sunbathe on one of the many decks surrounding the house and fish for dinner right off the dock. Sip a cocktail or two while wading in the ocean watching the sun go down. About Green Turtle Cay:
North East of Treasure Cay you will find Green Turtle. This island is known as the long jewel. Facing the sea of Abaco and the main island, to the west are White Sound, Black Sound and the settlement of New Plymouth. New Plymouth village was established by American Loyalist over 200 years ago.They were a hard working group of farmers. They quickly realized the need to partner themselves with sea in order to be established so they dabbled in shark fishing, and lobstering . This storybook island has over 600 residents and their main enterprise today is tourism and lobstering. Green Turtle touts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. One is at your front door about a quarter mile away. Rent a golf cart for a day and have fun exploring the island and sandy white beaches. There is a dive shop on this island and if you want to do something out of the ordinary go see Brendal and please tell him I sent you.
Outer Cays:
While you are at the house do not miss out on exploring the other Cays.
Hope Town is a must see. It has a candystripe light house that what built by the British in 1860. You can climb up the lighthouse and get a birds eye view of the island surroundings.
Man-O-War Cay is definitely a favorite it has kept its original ties with boat building. On any given day you can see workman building a runabout or watch the ladies in the sail shop make their sails, and bags.
Great Guana Cay known for its great beach bar Nippers. Sunday is a favorite, there you can experience a pig roast as well as the local foods that have made this place so popular.
